This lost concert gem captures the pinnacle of the tribal infused sound Vidna Obmana and myself mapped over several years, from the mid 90s up through the mid 2000's. This period of our fruitful collaborations would see many releases and concerts in the US and Europe. This concert in 2000 at the Old Church in Portland Oregon was just unearthed by chance 2 days ago from the depth of my archives.
Both of us have not heard it or even knew we had the recording as things were moving fast and we were on to the next concert and album at the time. First impression was being blown away by the sound quality and material. We were also joined by Jeffrey Fayman on frame drum. The 3 of us had performed in the Netherlands the previous year at an EM festival and were in the collective groove together at the time. A version of this will be released by Projekt later in the year but after hearing this it was clear I had to share here with you ASAP!
