mysticwolf75 Atmospheric Conditions is still one of my favorite Timeroom Editions (I still have the T-shirt with the album cover from 2004, a bit faded now). Thanks for releasing this in long form. Another piece that just lets you drift away.

rikm Proving once again that he has an immense talent for long form Ambience, Steve Roach presents a beautiful piece that languidly drifts through the soundscape, a stunning work that is both calming and meditative...

Chris Castell Steve, do you have longer versions to Drift from Worlds Edge, Air meditation from Future Flows, Slowly revealed from Dynamic Stillness, Touch from Soma, Spirit Passage from The Desert in Between or In the presence of something from Well of Souls? All incredible pieces and would love any extended tracks.

bigpolarbear Steve, I'm currently in Kaua'i and enjoying your music while I meditate upon the ocean and palms. Have you ever been to Kaua'i?

about

The Heart Of Distant Horizons was partially revealed on the 1999 release Atmospheric Conditions. Recorded at the Tucson Timeroom which saw 15 years of relentless sonic adventures of all kinds documented on releases between 1990 to 2005.
This is the original long form master recorded around 1989-99. I consider this to be the nocturnal companion to The Dream Circle. While the Dream Circle had the bush sounds of my Australian adventures woven in this presents a darker stillness as creatures of the day submit to the realm of night.
