Dawa gompa Hi Steve.
Wow!!
Thanks so very much as I've been waiting for all these concerts to reemerge in the Exclusive stream: all concerts and live shows unfortunately I missed as I learned of you only around 2000 thanks to discovery of the S.F. Hearts of Space radio station.

Wowy maui... this really is Authentic Dreamtime epoch all over again & again. Deep, dreamy immersions, mesmerizing, swimming in sounds archaically reviving: ... Like the Phoenix rising.

OMG your are a Magus ;) Namaste

bigpolarbear It's yet another deep dive into Steve's mind. The ambiance is perfect for my early morning commute on foot in downtown Seattle.

John Davidson This sound journey is probably out of the body electric era, taking the listener deeper into the layers of the night. The transitions from the percussive beats and then slow is like the matching of the heart to the secret heart of time, the present moment.

about

April 2022 Exclusive

Deep Night is the first of many portions from this era I will release here. Drawing from extended live sets recorded on WXPN Stars End show, these hybrid sets occurred from around 1 am till early Sunday morning 3 or 4 am always after a Gathering Concert at St. Mary Church in Philadelphia. I lost track of how many concerts I performed at St Marys over the years, combined with these after concert WXPN radio concerts, its quite something to think back about!

The ritual would be to perform to a packed house - always a great audience! The concert at St Mary's would end around 10:30, a meet and greet would occur as the gear down taken down, load it into the transport vehicle, drive a short distance, move the gear into the radio station, quickly set up, make sure its all up an running and Gathering and Stars End host Chuck Van Zyl would fade me up on air and off I would go.

These sets would often expand into extended flows, 2 or 3 hours long all after performing a full set just a few hours earlier at St Marys! The sets are woven from many elements and periods as you will hear. This set would was from around late 90’s.

Created from a blending of zones, grooves, acoustic looping, remixed elements and various synths. Its was always a deep dreamtime dive after all that occurred earlier in the day and night. Usually the load out of the radio station was with the sun coming up and nothing left on the table. More of these coming over time.
Hope you enjoy and thank you for your support here!
