October 2021 Exclusive
This recording from Paderborn Germany 1991 documents my first set of concerts in Europe. The week before this concert I performed at Klemdag in Eindhoven, Netherlands. This was a very large annual electronic music festival where I also met Klaus Schulze for the first time who was in attendance. This tour included other dates in Germany as well as a memorable interview on WDR1 in Cologne on Winfrid Trenkler’s legendary radio show Schwingungen.

This Paderborn concert was also the first time I presented extended pieces from Dreamtime Return live. This was a time when I would not think twice about flying 8 large and heavy road case filled with the original equipment used to create Dreamtime Return for the concert performances. For the next 10 years, up through 2002, I would continue to make regular trips (with many flight cases) to Europe, Mexico and the US for concerts and festivals.

This was a long and vibrant time of living the dream, one I managed to survive over these 10 years of non stop travel, along with studio and various productions here in the US and Europe. Eventually post 9-11 airport protocols made flying with larger sums of gear internationally a challenge and I shifted the focus to the US.
